Imagine having your own television show where you will be broadcast to the residents of Huntington and surrounding areas. You'll get the satisfaction of providing something of value to your neighbors and having you and your business become better known in the Huntington community.
Huntington GTV (www.huntingtongtv.com) is looking for show hosts for our official launch date planned on April 15th. Before our official launch we will be broadcasting programs like yours to give the community a taste of what is coming.
What will your show be about?
That's up to you. What are you passionate about; Interior decorating, art, Scout Leader, the weather. sports, politics, community affairs, dog training, woodworking?
Your show can be live or pre-recorded. It must be of interest to the people of Huntington NY. Highest priority will be given to shows about Huntington or originating in Huntington.
Shows can be originated from your location or our studio. You can do live remotes from a laptop or smart phone.

GTV began three years ago in a small town in Alabama, Our goal for Huntington GTV is to provide the same sort of local programming.
Our mission is:
(1) To bring viewers local and regional news, sports and entertainment.
(2) To build Hunington's community, getting neighbors and friends in Huntington together.
(3) To provide local business an easy and inexpensive way to communicate with the community via target, cost-effective advertising.
(4) Provide public access to city officials, civic groups and the community.
(5) To promote Huntington as a great place to live and work.
Previously, the prestige and status of having a local TV station was reserved for the big cities. Now, GTV lets smaller towns and villages promote their communities, to attract new business, jobs and other opportunity's.
Huntington GTV will lead the way in the new wave of next generation Television stations. The new digital format can be delivered by cable networks or over the internet. mobile phones, tablets, net-books and the newest generation of smart TV's (Goole TV's) and Blue-ray players from Sony, LG, Logitech and others are all equipped to watch digital content.
Here's how it works:
- Email us at huntingtongtv@gmail.com. Tell us the proposed topic of your show and why you think it will be of interest to viewers. Provide any additional descriptive information that will provide us more background about you and about your proposed show.
- Show sponsors volunteer their time in exchange for the exposure they get. If you sell advertising on your show you can earn income by getting a percent of the advertising you sell.
